Joshua Elizondo is a student member serving the Board of Governors until June 2023 appointed by Governor Newsom. Elizondo has been a student at Santa Monica College since 2017; serving as the Santa Monica College Student Trustee as well as the California Community College Trustees Board Student Member 2020-21 and is presently, Associated Students President for the 2021-22 academic year. In his studies at the college, Josh has obtained 9 Associate degrees and 3 certificates across several disciplines. In Fall 2021, Joshua transferred to Pepperdine University where he studies International Relations: Global Politics with a minor in Social Work.
In his professional life, Joshua is an established entertainment professional/performer, sits on the board for California Youth Connection, serves as a Commissioner to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and is the Founder/Executive Director of The Foster Bunch.
