Advancing College Access for 2.5 Million Stranded Workers

Millions of working Californians are neglected by our higher education system, a glaring injustice that Governor Brown’s proposal to establish the 115th Community College seeks to correct. These 2.5 million working adults ages 25-34, and another 6.2 million ages 35-65 in the same position, cannot access the education needed to land quality, emerging jobs and advance their economic futures. This is a problem we can’t afford to ignore.
