Predatory for-profit colleges are back. It’s time to stop them

Writing in The Hechinger Report, Calbright College President Ajita Talwalker Menon and National Student Defense Legal Network President Aaron Ament point out that when the pandemic began, experts issued a grim warning: predatory for-profit schools were poised for a revival.

Two years later, that prediction has come true. But we can step up to protect the vulnerable, and help them achieve their goals without going into overwhelming debt.
