Audrey Heinesen, Ed.D., serves as the Chief Learning Officer/CIO at Calbright College, where she provides leadership, guidance, and direction for all instructional programs, as well as oversees the design, development, and delivery of all online programs. As an e-learning specialist, Dr. Heinesen brings over 25 years experience in higher education and online learning. Throughout her career, she has pioneered the entry and growth of several educational ventures into the world of online teaching and learning, including Udemy and The New York Times. Previously as Vice President, Digital Learning at CIG Education Group, Dr. Heinesen oversaw the design and development of innovative for credit and noncredit programs that delivered high-quality online and blended education for both Sotheby’s Institute of Art and The School of The New York Times, which she co-founded. She completed her Ed.D. in Instructional Technology & Media at Teachers College, Columbia University, M.A. in Second and Foreign Language Education at Soka University of America, and B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies Field at University of California, Berkeley.
