Taylor Huckaby is a communications professional with over eleven years of experience, throughout which he has developed expertise in crafting clear, concise, and compelling strategy and content for diverse organizations such as the British Embassy, American Airlines Federal Credit Union, the Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART), and Slack Technologies. In these positions he had many roles: spokesperson, executive advisor, campaign developer, influencer relationship manager, and crisis manager, to name a few.
Past efforts he led involved partnerships with internationally recognized names (e.g. Virgin Atlantic, Jaguar/Land Rover), while others earned media in top-tier outlets (e.g. The New York Times, Gawker, Wired, and AdWeek). While working at BART, his communication strategy was instrumental in helping voters understand 2016’s regional Measure RR, a successful $3.5 billion bond measure. He is currently assisting Calbright College stand up its communications division in Oakland, where he resides. He is a proud alumnus of Louisiana State University.
