My position at a non-profit foundation ended when they closed due to Covid-19. I now had the opportunity to continue my education, which was a positive aspect of the pandemic. The fact that Calbright College was a free virtual program was very important to me.
I was looking to expand my job skills and enrolled in the CRM Platform Administration program. Being familiar with Salesforce as a consumer, I was interested to become a certified administrator.
My experience with Calbright has been very positive. It was different from the way I remembered college. It was even fun! I enjoyed the virtual seminars with Career Services and the one-on-one Zoom meetings with the counselors to review and update my resume and cover letter. Meeting with my professors to review the course materials was easy, they offered a variety of hours to meet virtually that included evenings and weekends. I appreciated that they were available outside of normal business hours. There was always somebody available to connect with you.
The program took about six months to complete, and now I’m getting ready to take my Salesforce administrator exam and use my new resume to reinvent my career.
