Employment in Cybersecurity Support (CompTIA Security+ Certification)
Calbright College is a new kind of California Community College, preparing working adults for careers in better paying, more upwardly mobile jobs, such as those in the cybersecurity sector. Cybersecurity is the hottest IT sector and the job market does not have enough qualified candidates to fill positions. Last year, there were more than 400,000 technology jobs posted in California. Workers who enter the Cybersecurity Support Pathway acquire key skills and knowledge that are directly applicable to other career pathways in the technology industry, including coding and programming, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and others.
People who enroll in a Calbright Job Ready Program and achieve certification will glide directly into a paid apprenticeship in the job they trained for, which can lead to a new, full-time job.
The best part? All of this is free to our enrolled learners. And all of it has been designed to be done in under one year.
